About Counselling Psychology

Counselling Psychologists undergo extensive specialist training enabling them to develop bespoke psychological formulations for each of the clients that they work with. They combine their knowledge of psychological theory, therapeutic models, research and practice. This enables Counselling Psychologists to listen closely and attune to their clients in an empathic, non-judgemental way.

Counselling Psychologists work alongside their clients, empowering them to explore, better understand and manage their experiences. By focusing on their clients’ subjective experiences, Counselling Psychologists help their clients to believe in their own ability to gradually bring about the positive changes that they desire within their lives.
